Privacy Policy
The website www.pecat.si (hereinafter: online store) is managed by PEČAT, Urška Bračko s.p., Gradiška 1c, 2211 Pesnica pri Mariboru (hereinafter: provider). This privacy policy explains in detail how we use the personal data that you provide to us when using the website and when ordering products offered by the provider online.
1. What is personal data?
Personal data is information that directly or indirectly identifies you as an individual, where “indirect” means in combination with other information, e.g. with your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, identification number, location information or other identifiers.
2. What personal data do we collect?
If you are only a visitor to the online store, we only collect data about you using cookies. If you are a user of the provider’s services (ordering products, registering a user to use the online store, filling out a contact form, signing up to participate in prize games, filling in questionnaires published on the website or included in e-mails), we also collect other personal data about you:
- Name

- Phone Number
- Gender
- Street and house number
- Post number and city
- Country of residence
- Company name (if the user is a legal entity)
- Tax number (if the user is a legal entity)
- Username
- Password
3. What is the purpose of using the collected data?
If you have made a purchase of products in the online store, personal data is collected and processed for the conclusion and implementation of the contract, i.e. to provide the ordered products and inform you about additional details of said products, possible changes, additional details, instructions for using the services or for providing articles and content of an educational nature.
In the case of an order for the provider’s newsletter, we process your provided e-mail address and name on the basis of consent for the purpose of general information about the provider’s products and services, news and summaries of news, articles and other content published on the website.
4. How do we process your personal data?
All provided personal data is treated confidentially and is used only for the purpose for which it was provided.
Some user data must be forwarded by the provider to other personal data managers. These are primarily providers of various payment services, such as banks, PayPal, etc. Another group of managers are transport companies that ensure that the product arrives at the user’s address.
The data is also forwarded to state authorities if they request the data. The data is forwarded to them if there is a valid legal basis for this, which means that this body has the right to request data from the provider and requests it in an appropriate way – in writing.
The provider will not forward the collected data to third parties, unless there is a legal basis for this (e.g. requests from courts or other authorities, etc.).
The user is aware and agrees that the provider can entrust individual tasks related to the collected data to third parties (contractual processors). Third parties may process confidential data exclusively within the scope of the provider’s authorization.
5. User rights
The user can request access to personal data, correction, limitation of processing or deletion from the provider.
5.1 Right to be informed
As a user of the online store, you have the right to check with the provider which of your personal data is being processed and where this data comes from. Under certain conditions, you have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to the provider in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to have this data transferred to any third party of your choice.
5.2 Right to correction
The user can change or supplement his personal data at any time, which he can do in the online store or by sending an e-mail to the provider.
5.3 Right to restriction of processing
The provider will allow the user who, upon registration or later, expressed a desire to receive the provider’s electronic messages, to unsubscribe from receiving them in an understandable and simple way at any time.
5.4 Right to deletion
The user can request that the provider permanently delete all data relating to him. Before deleting the data, the provider has the right to ask the user to prove his identity in an appropriate way. If the provider doubts the user’s identity even after this, he can reject his request.
6. How long do we keep your data?
The provider keeps the data on registration in the online store for 5 years after the last registration.
The provider stores data on past purchases as long as you have an open account in the online store. When you close your online store account or after 5 years have passed since the last login to the online store, the provider deletes your account information. We keep data on direct marketing, i.e. on the consent given and the use of which channels you have allowed for it, for two years after the end of the year in which you completely revoked the consent.
The provider may keep other data as long as it is absolutely necessary to achieve the purpose for which the data was collected, after which it must be permanently deleted or effectively anonymized, so that the specific data can no longer be associated with a specific user.
7. Cookies
The provider uses “cookies” on the website – these are small files that are saved on your computer when you visit the website. Cookies can facilitate your subsequent visits to the site. With the settings in your browser, you can decide whether to accept or reject cookies.
If you do not accept cookies, some web pages may not be displayed correctly or you may not be able to access all information or functionality of the web pages, but accepting cookies is not a condition for using the online store.
Read more about cookies and their use in our Cookies Policy.
8. Change of Privacy Policy
The provider reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time at its own discretion. We therefore advise you to review this privacy policy regularly. The provider will notify you of changes to this privacy policy by e-mail only in the case of significant changes affecting the processing of personal data.
